Texas Big Man Cameron Ridley Nearly Took Out the Basket on a Missed Dunk

Cameron Ridley, Texas’ junior center, is listed at 6’9″ and 285-pounds. (He has come a long way since he was a 6’10”, 245-pound high school recruit.) During the Longhorns’ 66-43 win over TCU on Wednesday, Ridley nearly brought down the entire basket support on a missed dunk. This was quite Shaq-like. The 8.9 points and 5.2 rebounds he’s averaging this season are not. Of course, actual basketball could be a secondary concern for Ridley – It is possible that everything he does on a basketball court these days is meant to scare off bats. Never again.
