Spike Albrecht Scored on the Weirdest Self Alley-Oop You Will Ever See

Spike Albrecht can only do so much. Michigan’s 5’11” junior guard led the Wolverines in points and assists on Thursday. Unfortunately, Albrecht only had 13 points and 5 assists and Illinois beat Michigan, 64-52. The one real highlight came on this broken play where Albrecht lost the handle on the basketball and it somehow turned into an unintentional – yet perfect – alley-oop that he finished with an awkward jumper from the baseline. We’ll probably never see a play quite like this again. Especially, if it happens in an ugly B1G game in February.
