Sydney FC and the Melbourne Victory played to a 3-3 Valentine’s Day draw in A-League action, but you already knew that didn’t you? The thrilling contest was overshadowed by a flop in the box by Sydney defender Sebastian Ryall late in the first half, which referee Strebre Delovski deemed a penalty.

After the game, Melboure manager Kevin Muscat fumed over the “non-existent” penalty call. Via Fox Sports Australia:

"“Everyone will say what a great advert for the A-League but I totally disagree. If we just accept decisions like that, we’re going severely down the wrong path. It seems that at the moment the two sets of teams are not deciding the outcome of the game.”"

The high-pitched “Seriously?” from the announcers about sums it up.
