WWE's Cesaro Is Purported Victim of Twitter Hacking Hoping for Vince McMahon to Get Cancer

Cesaro is a WWE wrestler who is one of the roster’s most talented in-ring performers. However, he’s been held back from superstardom because he lacks an “it” factor (i.e. he’s not charismatic on the microphone) — Vince McMahon has said so publicly. Earlier this morning, Cesaro’s Twitter account was hacked (universal disclaimer: given that this is WWE, which is weird as hell, there’s always the lingering chance this was part of an angle …) by an apparently avid fan distraught that the company is holding him back (via Reddit):

The hacker later admitted he was not Cesaro, and all the tweets have since been deleted. This is the second social media kerfuffle the WWE has had to deal with in the past week — as you’ll recall, last Monday nude photos of a diva were posted from Seth Rollins’ account, followed by retaliatory dick pic shots of the wrestler from his fiancée. WWE brass described that snafu as an “unfortunate personal incident,” and it will be interesting to see if this issue with Cesaro is greeted with the same leniency.
