Here's A Really Unfortunate Own Goal in an Asian Champions League Qualifer

There are own goals in soccer and then there is what the Central Coast Mariners’ Josh Rose did in an Asian Champions League qualifer vs. Guangzhou R&F on Tuesday. It’s one thing to play a back pass to the keeper, as we saw last week in a Dutch Eredivisie game, but it’s entirely another to fire it back toward your own goal when the keeper is 20 yards off his own line. Either way Central Coast were down 2-0 in the 89th minute before the own goal and ended up losing 3-1.
