Jameis Winston and Bryce Petty were at Michigan training with Jim Harbaugh this week, and MGoBlue had interviews with the two players and their experience (presumably to continue Harbaugh’s future recruiting tape).

At the 2:00 mark, Winston gives high praise to Harbaugh, saying, “the type of coach that he is, I wish I could have played for him.” Shade on Jimbo Fisher? Probably not. One can express praise for one coach without hating another. I don’t think this was an “instead of” rather than “it would have been fun” statement.

Winston also talked about the facilities, which makes one realize just how much Michigan has underachieved in recent years given the resources.

"“These guys don’t know how blessed they are to have this type of facility. Florida State, we’re a very prestigious school, we have nice stuff, but we don’t have this. I love Florida State, I mean, go ‘Noles til the day I die, but they’re so much advanced than us.”"

If there was any quote from this that stands out as drawing a contrast of coaching, it was Bryce Petty of Baylor talking about his mechanics and how amazing and effortless it was after working with Harbaugh. (40 second mark).

"It’s amazing, man, when feel kinda how you get your whole body, when you get your whole body into a throw, it’s almost effortless. And I’ve been using so much, like, just my arm, upper body strength. It’s kind of crazy when you actually put in your lower body. You know, there’s a hundred different ways to coach quarterbacks, you just have to find that guy that works well for you, that you click with, you mesh with."

So there you go, Bryce Petty is now throwing it so much more effortlessly after a few days with Harbaugh.
