WWE Doctor Sues CM Punk for Defamation Over Podcast Remarks

CM Punk and Colt Cabana (real names Phil Brooks and Scott Colton) are being sued for defamation by WWE ring doctor Christopher M. Amann, according to the Cook County Record. On Cabana’s podcast this past November, Punk accused the WWE medical staff of improperly treating concussions and a staph infection, and said he’d told an unnamed doctor that “You are one of the most worthless pieces of shit I have ever met in my entire life.”

Shortly after the podcast was taped, CM Punk joined UFC. He’s training in Milwaukee, and it’s not yet known when he will debut.
