DeAndre Jordan Tried to Dunk On, Over, and Through Tim Duncan, Failed Spectacularly

Tim Duncan could, in theory, play in the NBA forever. A few short months from turning 39, Duncan is averaging 14.8 points and 9.9 rebounds in 30 minutes a night. He’s playing like a much younger man. Well, a much younger Tim Duncan anyway.

So retirement probably wasn’t much of a thought up until the moment when DeAndre Jordan tried to dunk over him from the damn dotted line. And when I say over, I mean OVER. DeAndre Jordan has decided he wants to treat actual big men like Brandon Knight this season and it’s going to get somebody hurt. Tim Duncan is 38-years old. If he hadn’t ducked he may have turned to dust.
