Chris Jones Allegedly Sent a Threatening Text Message to a Girlfriend

Chris Jones allegedly threatened his girlfriend last week. Allegeldy, the girl “messed up” Jones’ room when he didn’t show up to meet her and he sent a text saying he would “smack TF (the fuck) out of” her. Jones was dismissed from the Louisville basketball team on Sunday. On Saturday, Jones scored 17 points in Louisville’s win over Miami. He was suspended for the team’s previous game against Syracuse for a still undisclosed reason.

When Jones was kicked off the team on Sunday, a report surfaced saying Jones would seek anger counseling. Jones has since denied that report. Jones, a sophomore, averaged 13.7 points, 4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in his final partial season at Louisville.
