Urban Meyer is trapped on a cruise ship. Ohio State’s Buckeye Cruise for Cancer boat has been stuck 20 miles off the coast, waiting for a dense fog to lift so it can dock in Tampa Bay.

"The ship has played host the past five days to the annual Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, which along with the fun also serves as a major fundraiser to benefit the Urban & Shelley Meyer Fund for cancer research and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. But the ship, with a reported 2,500 on board and due in port yesterday, has been in a holding pattern about 20 miles off the coast for a day now waiting for the dense fog to lift. That’s not expected until at least 7 p.m. today according to the latest weather advisory."

Internet aboard appears to be functional. Former Buckeye Dustin Fox documented the aforementioned fog on Instagram.

Hopefully, the bathrooms remain functional and the bars remain stocked until the fog clears. Some quick cals on the lido deck may be in order at this time.

No word on whether Alabama invested its entire operating surplus in fog machines.

UPDATE: A rescue attempt is afoot. The Coast Guard is leading the cruise ship to port.
