Adam Schefter Nearly Drove Off the Road in a Blizzard When He Got a Text About the LeSean McCoy Trade

LeSean McCoy was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Buffalo Bills today. (Or so we think) ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the story on Twitter. Apparently, he almost died so he could break that story. I hope you appreciate that.

Schefter called in to SportsCenter to talk about the trade and explained that he was driving in a blizzard when he got the text about the trade. Being a major sports media personality who makes his living based on scoops and being FIRST!, Schefter was checking his phone while driving – in the shitty Northeast weather.

Let this be a lesson to all the major sportswriters out there – hire someone to drive you so you don’t have to pull over when you get a text about a rumor or a rumbling every 2-seconds.
