Mohamed Salah Made the Entire Juventus Defense Look Silly on This Fantastic Goal
By Mike Cardillo
Mohamed Salah found an extra gear — or three — during Thursday’s Coppa Italia match vs. Juventus. The Fiorentina winger collected the ball in his own half and took it the rest of the way himself, running past the entire Juve defense in the process, finishing off the highlight with a powerful shot into the goal.
Premier League fans may be familiar with Salah since he moved to Chelsea during last January’s transfer window. The Egyptian international didn’t play all that much at Stamford Bridge and was loaned to Fiorentina as part of the Juan Cuadrado transfer. Salah is already up to five goals for Fiorentina in a handful of appearances.
If he ever actually gets the playing time at Chelsea in the future remains to be seen. Either way, that’s one hell of an individual goal.
Salah scored again in the second half to put Fiorentina ahead 2-1.
