"Rahier started throwing rocks at his girlfriend, police said. One rock, about 8-inches in diameter, reportedly hit the woman on the left side of her head, caused a deep cut and knocked her unconscious, according to the probable cause statement."

The report also states Rahier ran from the scene and was intoxicated. He also denied the woman was his girlfriend and that he threw rocks at her.

According to KPHO the woman said the two had been dating for about a month. Rahier has a court date Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He spent last year with the Reds’ Class A Dayton team.
