Desiree Andrews is a cheerleader at Lincoln Middle School (Kenosha, Wisconsin) with Down’s Syndrome. When some people began bullying and teasing her at a recent junior high game, three players who were in the game stopped the game and walked over to make it stop.

Scooter Terrien, Miles Rodriguez, Chase Vazquez have since become friends with Desiree and walk with her to class. The school has also referred to the gym where they play as “D’s House” in honor of Desiree. Desiree described the act as “sweet, kind, and awesome, and amazing.”
