Fan's Attempt for Million-Dollar Half-Court Shot Comes Up Hilariously Short [UPDATE]

At halftime of the Duke-Notre Dame ACC Tournament game a fan had a chance to win $1 million with halfcourt shot. Unfortunately for the fan his attempt a) came up woefully short and b) was recorded in Vine form to replay over and over again.

As a wise stranger once said, sometimes you eat the bar and sometimes it eats you.

UPDATE: Turns out that the fan, Scott Park, knew he wasn’t going to make the shot unless, “God intervened and put wings on the ball.” Read his story at The Sporting News and the Vine actually shifts from embarrassing to inspirational.
