Zdeno Chara Scored From Ridiculously Deep in the Bruins Defensive Zone

Down a goal with less than a minute remaining, the Pittsburgh Penguins pulled their goalie against the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon. Zdeno Chara took advantage by clearing the puck from near his team’s goalline and it ended up in the empty net. I’m not 100% certain what the longest non-goalie goal in NHL history is, but this must be close. [via @peteblackburn]
