There’s never a dull moment when Russell Westbrook is on the floor. He is the NBA equivalent of a ‘Chance’ card from the Monopoly board game. When you draw one: You never know what you’re going to get. You’re either going straight to jail, or, passing go/collecting $200.

For example…

Today, Westbrook put up a paltry 36 Points, 11 Rebounds, and 6 Assists — as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 109-100, and pulled a half game in front of the New Orleans Pelicans for the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

In case you missed it, Westbrook went absolutely bonkers in the 4th quarter … making play-after-play-after-play…and showcased his freakish athleticism that we’ve all come to know and love.

Today marks Russell’s 5th game this SEASON with at least 35 points, 10 rebounds & 5 assists in one game. The entire rest of the league, COMBINED, has 6 such games this year.

In addition, what Westbrook has done on the court this past month can be matched by only the Great, Michael Jordan…

Long Story Short: This is pretty much what Scott Brooks’ white board looks like right now, when he calls timeout to draw up a play with the game on the line.

Give the ball to Russ, and get the hell out of the way.

The Bulls, meanwhile, have now lost 5 of their last 6 games … with the one win coming against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers.
