Things took an ugly turn midway through the first half of the CONCACAF Champions League semifinal between Herediano and Club América Tuesday night in Costa Rica. A bad challenge by América’s Michael Arroyo took out Cristian Lagos near both teams’ benches. It got even worst when another América player connected with Lagos’ head while he was prone on the ground. All of this sparked a brawl, that according to MLSSoccer.com took five minutes to sort out.
