Greg Hardy Signs One-Year Deal with Cowboys

Greg Hardy is going to the Cowboys. The former Carolina Panther is getting paid quite well for the one-year contract, as reported by numerous NFL insiders, getting at least $11.5 million with the chance for the contract to be worth over $13 million. The question going forward is how many games the defensive end will actually play for Dallas in 2015.

Hardy only played in one game in 2014, due to off-field issues stemming from a domestic violence case. The case was eventually dismissed in February when his ex-girlfriend wouldn’t testify. Hardy remains on the commissioner’s exempt list and may still face further discipline from the NFL. The story posted to the Cowboys website announcing the signing speculated Hardy could be suspended anywhere from 4-6 games.
