The New York Knicks beat the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. After the game, Gregg Popovich spoke about his team the way one should speak about a team that lost to the 2014-2015 New York Knicks.

"We didn’t respect the game. We didn’t respect our opponent. It was a pathetic performance. I hope that every player is embarrassed, not because we’re “supposed to win the game,” but it’s about how you play the game."

Luckily for New York, they’re still a game ahead of behind the Timberwolves in the loss column and still hold the worst record in the NBA. No matter how pathetically the Spurs played, the odds are still in their favor to win the top pick in the draft.
