Delton Williams, a Michigan State football player, was arrested on Monday for brandishing a firearm in public. Williams, a sophomore running back, was involved in a road-rage incident on campus around 7:30pm when he cut off another driver who honked. Williams then “displayed a weapon.” Williams has a concealed weapons permit, but apparently playing show and tell on campus doesn’t count as concealed.

He has been suspended from all team-related activities, which may include NCAA Tournament watch parties. Williams rushed for 103 of his 316 yards and scored 3 of his 5 touchdowns for the season in a 73-14 win over Eastern Michigan in September. [FREEP]
