Now, Franz Beckenbauer is stiff-arming FIFA ethics inquiries. But, the German legend was once one of soccer’s all-time greats. Here he is scoring a ridiculous free kick with the outside of his foot for Bayern Munich.
Such mastery once earned Beckenbauer the nickname “Der Kaiser.” In 2015, he’d probably just make that his Twitter handle and people would run with it.
