Someone Bet $500 That Kentucky Would Go Undefeated (at 50-1 Odds) Back in August

One individual stands to win $25,000 if Kentucky wins the national championship and finishes 40-0, based on a $500 prop bet back in August.
William Hill opened a prop bet last summer with Kentucky at 50-1 to go undefeated this season, and one person placed the $500 wager at those odds. Another person staked the hefty sum of $2,550 on an undefeated season in September, still before any games had taken place, with the prop bet odds dropping to 20-1.
Heavy action has come in on “No” on the undefeated prop bet as the season ended and the odds became shorter. While more money has been bet against Kentucky going undefeated, because of the initial odds offerings, the casino still will be rooting for a Kentucky loss in the tournament.
