Aaron Baddeley stepped up to the tee on the drivable 336-yard par-4 17th at the Texas Open and smashed his drive. The ball was just a bit too far left and ended up in the water. Baddeley decided to re-tee and hit another drive, but this time he hit the damn thing went in the hole resulting in a crazy birdie.

"“I just thought I’d just hit it straight and so I hit it and started walking and then heard the crowd going nuts,” Baddeley said afterward. “I was like, wait, I just made birdie.”"

Had the first shot gone in, it would have been only the second hole-in-one on a par-4 in PGA Tour History.

Unfortunately Golf Channel’s live coverage ended before the shot and video hasn’t surfaced yet. The shot moved Baddeley into a tie for the lead at 4 under. Charley Hoffman later picked up another stroke on Baddeley and moved him into second place.
