Troy Merritt is currently playing in the Texas Open at AT&T Oaks Course. On the par-4 11th hole, Merritt stepped up and killed his 2-iron. The ball barely made it to the fairway, traveling only 155-yards. Merritt currently sits at 6-over, one stroke off the cut.

Merritt isn’t the only player who suffered a problem with his equipment. On the par-4 12th, the head of Phil Mickelson’s 8-iron came completely off.
