Royals Minor League Team Creates Hot Dog Served on Donut, Smothered in Jelly and Bacon

The Wilmington Blue Rocks, the Single A affliate of the Kansas City Royals, threw down the gauntlet in the ever-increasing war to pack the most calories into a ballpark concession stand food item. The yet unnamed foodstuff features a hot dog inside a glazed donut covered with raspberry jam and bacon. My humble submissions are: “Heaven on Earth” or “Heart Attack in a Bun.” Perhaps both at the same time.

Since I’ve been watching Tommy Boy all week, I’ll close with a co-opted … “I can actually hear myself getting fatter” looking at that picture.
