Sporting KC Local Ad is Both Funny and Honest

As far as local sports-related commercials go, this one by Sporting Kansas City for its team-sponsored Visa card is fairly tame. Nothing about it is screams intentionally zany. What sells it is the honesty. Some random fan showing up and trying to pal around with players like Graham Zusi and Ike Opara would be totally awkward. And weird.

Also weird: eating hot dogs in a hot tub. At least there wasn’t a bottle of ketchup anywhere nearby, right?
