Illinois State Assistant Coach Torrey Ward Reportedly Among Five Dead in Plane Crash Returning From NCAA Final

Ward played at UAB and coached previously at Jacksonville State and Ole Miss. He joined Illinois State in 2012.
His last update on social media included a picture of the plane.

The Chicago Tribune reported the plane left Indianapolis at 11 p.m. and encountered heavy fog. It has only confirmed two names on the flight so far.
