Jordan Spieth Sets a New 36-Hole Record at the Masters

Jordan Spieth is currently 14-under par and holds a 4-stroke lead over the field at the Masters after his second round. Spieth’s first round 64, was one off the course tournament record 63, throw in his second round 66 and the 21-year-old now has the lowest ever score, a total of 130, after the first 36-holes. The previous record of 131 was set by Raymond Floyd, who went on to win the tournament, in 1976.

Spieth, who ranks fifth in strokes gained putting, has made 15 birdies in his first two rounds, 1 more than he had total last year in his Masters debut when he finished tied for second.
