Rachel Nichols Asks Pau Gasol if Bulls Sacrificed Live Chicken at Halftime, Gasol Skirts Issue

Pau Gasol and the Chicago Bulls mounted a pretty impressive comeback against the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Trailing by 19 points at halftime, they held the Heat to 8 points in the third quarter and won, 89-78. It was a remarkable turnaround and TNT’s Rachel Nichols tried to get to the bottom of the team’s halftime transformation.

The most plausible explanation was that the Bulls sacrificed a live chicken in the locker room at halftime, so Nichols asked Gasol. The Bulls center completely avoided answering the question! What’s up with that? I think it is fair to assume that the Chicago Bulls DID sacrifice a live chicken at halftime of their win against the Miami Heat. Otherwise, Gasol would have given Nichols a straight answer. Chicago media should be on the lookout for chicken buckets.
