Baseball season is officially back. On Friday night, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox engaged in a 19-inning game that had an official running time of 6-hours and 49-minutes – including a 16-minute delay in the 12th inning!

I feel the worst for the father and son I saw get on a train to Yankee Stadium at 5:11pm in New York’s Hudson Valley. I feel second-worst for umpire Marty Foster who was hit in the nuts by a pitch when the Red Sox catcher could no longer summon the strength to move his glove enough to catch the ball. Baseball is back!
