Vander Blue made his Los Angeles Lakers debut on Monday night. Blue, who has had short stints with the Rockets, Grizzlies, 76ers, Celtics, Spurs and Wizards since leaving Marquette in 2013, was signed on Monday to help fill the roster with physically able bodies.

If you assume Blue was an afterthought, you’re right. First, look at this portion of the ESPN boxscore for the game. He played 25-minutes last night and scored 7 points, but ESPN won’t even give him credit for entering the damn game. Perhaps that’s because the Lakers pretty clearly gave him a Wayne Ellington jersey with a one sewn in front of the two.

The Lakers don’t even have a picture of him wearing a Lakers jersey. It is time for the regular season to end.
