Odell Beckham Jr. Met David Beckham In Very "Beckham" Photo Op

New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. met former Manchester United, Real Madrid and L.A. Galaxy star David Beckham.

Besides sharing a surname, both are known for freakishly talented appendages: Odell with his hands and David with his right foot. Odell was also quite the youth soccer player, before switching to football full time.

"“I played seriously until I was about 13 or 14 then the(US) national team wanted me to try out for it,” Beckham said. “It’s just so much for a young kid to have to decide that. You’d have to leave your family. But I always played in the premiere leagues. I was 11 playing U-14, stuff like that. I was always playing up."

We find the “best athletes playing soccer” argument asinine. Though, if we were going to project one American star athlete from another sport to have gone on to international soccer stardom, it would be Odell Beckham Jr.
