78-year old James Woods asked the kids to move, O’Neill took exception and somehow things escalated to the point where O’Neill hit Woods in the face hard enough to knock him out of his chair.

"“He hit me square in the face,” [Woods] said. “I saw a flash. Then my whole front face from my eyes on down to my chin went numb … I couldn’t get up because I had cobwebs in my head. He smacked me really good.”"

Woods “suffered severe dental damage, including seven cracked teeth, a bloody nose and concussion.” O’Neill previously had a murder charge dropped in 2013, after authorities determined he acted in self-defense.
