Mississippi State Official Baseball Shirt From Adidas Has Hidden Message: "F--K THE SCHOOL UP NORTH"

Mississippi State’s baseball team got some interesting new shirts this week. The Vegas-inspired t-shirts provided by Adidas and approved by the university featured an upside-down hidden message for the school’s rival Ole Miss. Specifically, “F–K THE SCHOOL UP NORTH.” It’s the kind of thing a fan-made shirt would contain. It’s also kind of awesome that an official, major apparel company would try something like this.

The back of the shirt shows the text more clearly. And even once right-side up! The Mississippi State A.D. has already apologized for the shirt.

Adidas has also released a statement about the shirts. Via Deadspin:

"We apologize to Mississippi State, their student-athletes, fans and alumni for this error. The Bulldogs’ baselayer graphic today featured old artwork that was never presented to the university. This graphic does not reflect our brand values nor those of Mississippi State. We take full responsibility for this error and wish Mississippi State the best of luck during Super Bulldog Weekend."
