Pete Rose Joining Fox Sports As MLB Analyst

Pete Rose is joining FOX Sports. He will serve as a guest analyst for MLB on FOX pregame. He will also contribute to America’s Pregame or Fox Sports Live. No word on whether he’s jocular enough to hang with Andy and Donovan.
Per Ken Rosenthal’s lead, FOX Sports views him as a potential Barkley-like presence on its baseball coverage. Rose is one of baseball’s biggest personalities, though that is quite a bar.
MLB, which took an active role policing its broadcast partners under the previous regime, raised no issue with the hire. Read what you will into Rose’s pending reinstatement.
