Ok, so, yesterday — the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres were playing each other … and in the top of the 9th inning, this happened…
A fan at Wrigley Field caught a foul ball with her beer cup, and then proceeded to chug the whole thing like it was a game of beer pong.
Today, it happened again!
If you ask me, this is a tradition that needs to stick and should be enforced at ALL ballparks. Ball in beer = Drink! Leave the gloves at home, use your cups! However, beer pong rules apply: if two foul balls end up in your cup before you’re done consuming said beer, you dont get to keep them, you have to send them back to the field, and you are ejected from the game.
