Kawhi Leonard Threw Down an Incredible Alley-Oop, Reluctantly Rated His Dunk a 10 With Help From Media
Kawhi Leonard, the NBA Defensive Player of the Year, is also fairly proficient offensively. Leonard scored 32 points on 18 shots in the Spurs’ 100-73 Game 3 win over the Clippers. Including this alley-oop dunk on what can best be described as an ill-advised pass from Danny Green. Multiple defenders were back, including a flat-footed and confused Blake Griffin. Blake didn’t even bother trying to jump. It looked like Green was throwing the ball into the stands, but Kawhi went up and got and threw it own in one high-flying motion.
After the game, the media asked Leonard about the dunk. Skip to the :55 mark to hear Leonard give his monotone answers. After some prodding, he gave an answer that made the press erupt with laughter. Kawhi barely raised his head.
