VIDEO: Dodgers Fan Caught Buster Posey Homer in His Cap

On the always-important luck/skill scale, I’d guess catching a home run in your cap is an equal dash of both … if not a little more on the lucky side. Either way one fortunate Los Angeles Dodgers fan caught a Buster Posey round-tripper in his cap last night. The fan receives bonus points for hanging onto his beer while tipping his cap over the railing.
This reminds me, vaguely, of that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer tells Paul O’Neill he needs to hit two home runs in order to get back a signed George Steinbrenner birthday card from a sick kid in the hospital. The second homer is ruled an error (or something) so Kramer bargains with the kid and the new deal is O’Neill needs to catch a ball in his cap — something that I don’t think has ever happened in a regulation Major League game.
