Tiger Woods let the world know, via his Twitter account, that he won’t be taking much time off this summer. Woods is coming off of a solid performance at the Masters where he finished tied for 17th at five-under, even though he did have a hard time finding the fairway off the tee.

  • May 7-10 Players Championship – TPC Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
  • June 4-7 Memorial – Muirfield Village GC, Dublin, OH
  • June 18-21 US Open – Chambers Bay, University Place, WA
  • July 2-5 The Greenbrier Classic – The Old White TPC, White Sulphur Springs, WV
  • July 16-19 Open Championship – St. Andrews GC (Old Course), Scottland
  • July 30-August 2 Quicken Loans National – Robert Trent Jones GC, Gainesville, VA

Woods has participated in four tournaments so far this season in which he finished tied for 17th at two tournaments, was cut after an 82, and withdrew because of injuries (chipping problems).

What? No PGA Championship? Hard to imagine that if the 4-time winner is playing well and hasn’t busted up his back, wrists, knees, etc… that he’d skip the final major of the year.
