Jameis Winston Drafted 1st Overall by the Tampa Bay Bucs

Jameis Winston is the new quarterback of the Tampa Bay Bucs. The Florida State star who only lost one game in two seasons was taken 1st overall by the Bucs in a move that has been a formality for months.
I wouldn’t have drafted Winston 1st, but Tampa apparently had no reservations about the 21-year getting millions of dollars to be the face of the franchise. Stay away from the strip clubs, Jameis.
Winston will have a great opportunity for success on the field, given that he’s got one of the best young receivers in the NFL in Mike Evans, and a quality veteran in Vincent Jackson. Tampa has a quality young tight end in Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
Winston’s debut will be on September 13th against the Tennessee Titans. Will he be facing Marcus Mariota? We’ll know shortly.
