Oakland Raiders Drafted Amari Cooper 4th Overall, Derek Carr Has a Weapon
By Jason McIntyre
Amari Cooper, the best receiver in college football last year, is headed to the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders need to get some receiving help for young QB Derek Carr, and Cooper should accomplish that.
Cooper is only 6-foot-1, but Mel Kiper thinks “he could be Jerry Rice.”
Carr’s other receivers: Michael Crabtree, James Jones, Rod Streater and Andre Holmes. Cooper probably will go for 60-900-6 as a rookie.
