Washington Redskins Pull Stunner, Take Offensive Lineman in Brandon Scherff

Washington made its first first-round pick since the Robert Griffin III trade. With Leonard Williams on the board, Washington went with Brandon Scherff, the highest-rated offensive lineman, but one likely to play right tackle. Hopefully Scherff is more productive than other recent high picks who project more as right tackles (looking at you, Eric Fisher and Luke Joeckel). Scherff is also the first highly drafted lineman from Iowa since Robert Gallery.
