Alex Rodriguez Ties Willie Mays With His 660th Home Run

Alex Rodriguez hit his first home run as a pinch-hitter and the 660th of his career during the Yankees’ Friday night game against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. The hit, which gave the Yankees a 3-2 lead in the 8th, places A-Rod in a tie for fourth with Hall of Famer Willie Mays on the career home run list. He now trails only Babe Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755), and Barry Bonds (762).
