‘Twas a rough afternoon for Mike Francesa. His air conditioning was broken, making the studio “100 or 250 degrees.” “Intensely hot,” though not hot enough for Mike to ditch the sweatshirt. His phones and switchboard were down too, meaning he could not take calls, talk to guests or, apparently, cut to commercials. All he could do was complain. Riveting radio and simulcast television.
