Every Shot Hit on the 17th Hole During the First Round of The Players Championship

Here is every shot hit on the famous island green 17th hole at the TCP Sawgrass during the first round of The Players Championship. The 17th managed to claim 21 balls in the first round, the second highest number since 2007, but did not get Tiger Woods’ ball. Woods, who was probably just thankful he didn’t have to hit his driver on 17, managed to hit 8 of 14 fairways. Despite having a score of two-under on holes 14-17, Woods hit his driver into the water on 18, made a double bogey, and finished at one-over.
