Rickie Fowler, who had some extra motivation this week heading into The Players Championship after his peers voted him most overrated along with Ian Poulter, won after a 3-man playoff with Sergio Garcia and Kevin Kisner. Fowler finished his last six holes at six-under to move into the lead at 12-under where Garcia and Kisner joined him. The three played an aggregate playoff where Fowler and Kisner birdied the 17th, eliminating Garcia. Fowler and Kisner then played an extra hole, the 17th, where Fowler stuck his tee shot to around five feet and drained the putt while Kisner had a 12 footer he missed.
