Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi Carved Up Bayern For Two Easy Goals in the First Half
By Mike Cardillo
Mehdi Benatia scored less than 10 minutes into the second leg of today’s Champions League semifinal in Bavaria to give Bayern Munich a glimmer of hope to overturn a 3-0 deficit vs. Barcelona. The German champions hopes didn’t last long, as the Barcelona front line of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi carved them up like mincemeat.
Neymar scored both the goals, but each score is all about the passing and movement between the trio.
About the only drama left is whether or not next month’s Champions League final will be a Barcelona-Real Madrid Clasico or not. Barca leads today 5-1 on aggregate at the half.
And to think, back in January Barcelona were supposedly in a crisis after losing (drumroll) one match.
Oh right, Suarez dropped this filthy flick, too.
