Harry Shearer Leaves The Simpsons, Watch Him Effortlessly Alternate Between Characters

Harry Shearer, the voice of over a dozen Simpsons characters including Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Smithers, Otto, Ned Flanders, Dr. Hibbert, Kent Brockman, Reverend Lovejoy, and Rainier Wolfcastcle, is leaving The Simpsons after however many years it’s been on. The split does not appear to have been voluntary:
from James L. Brooks' lawyer: "show will go on, Harry will not be part of it, wish him the best.". (1/2)

This because I wanted what we've always had: the freedom to do other work.

Of course, I wish him the very best. (2/2)
Hopefully Shearer can find creative fulfillment in his future endeavors. I’d say it’s a big loss for the show, but it’s long past the time where The Simpsons had much business (besides business) being on the air.
