Good god almighty. This terrifying moment happened in the top of the sixth inning during today’s New York Mets vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, when Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard drilled Milwaukee’s Carlos Gomez in the head with a 97 mph fastball.

Gomez laid motionless on the ground for several moments…

…but, thankfully, after a minute or so: Carlos stood up and walked off the field under his own power.
